Some notes that may or may not seem insultingly obvious:

Doing this in comments instead of on the list proper because the HTML is super fucky and I live in dread of everything breaking again.

Inactive does not mean it is no longer in use, just that I have not used it in a good long while.

New has no real set length of time. Characters could be here for months until I feel comfortable with them.

Upcoming is basically a wish list, and characters could be on here for a long time or removed without ever happening. They may also not show up here at all, in the case of spur of the moment characters.

Dormant are characters that are more or less retired, but could come back.
